WORDS CANNOT EXPRESS MY GRATITUDE FOR YOU

and the title goes out from my heart to each one of you who take the time to stop by and check out my humble creations even there are lots more creative bloggers than me.
i truly appreciate your comments and your visits and your friendship.
this card is for you

Words cannot express my gratitude for you
3.75" x 5.5"
robyn, my pink stamper really rocked all the sentiments with this new one set and specifically with this one sentiment. in my opinion it is a very powerful statement. "Words cannot express my gratitude for you". wow! just think about it.

in case you are interested in the sizes----card base 7.5" by 5.5" piece of cardstock-scored at 3.75" and folded in half.--- the first piece of patterned paper was cut at 2.5" by 2.75"---- the brown strip was cut at 1" by 5.25" and the blue one is 1.25" by 3.75".

the flower is from gypsy wanderings image#11 cut several times, misted with water, crunched, dried with a heat gun and inked...;p  and the layers were attached with my glue gun. the buttons were from an old flannel shirt that had seen better days, lol. i distressed all the papers.

below is the new stamp set that is used:
(a must have)
well, thank you so much for stopping by and remember
i love you all

a little personal note here: my son did not get accepted at Harvard but he was accepted in the other 5 universities he applied for but he decided for Boston University. we are so happy for him. he was a bit bummed about Harvard since they were the ones who approached him and even gave him an interview. but God knows what is better for us and i am so very happy about his decision. now the time has come where he has to apply for some loan to cover the rest of the tuition. Boston University was very generous but still a very expensive school and he has to cover the rest. of course we are here to help him as much as we can.
thanks for the good wishes and better vibes.

"OH! SO SOFT" WITH THE WEEKLY CUTTLEBUG SPOT CHALLENGE

and...
we have come to an end. this is our last project for the cuttlebug spot. my term has come to an end and it was a pleasure to work with nilda who comes up with such nice challenges and make you wear your rusted thinking cap...hehe.
i have also got the pleasure to meet  and work and get inspired from some very talented designers through this blog and i am so glad for it.
"a big applause"
to nilda and my team mates for all the hard work and their awesome creations .

these latest  projects have been easy and this week we are to use felt on our projects.

i am working on another mini and even my "felted" embellishment was store bought...still felt, lol

no embossing on this cover but the back of it.

"nature" is from graphically speaking and the heart from create a critter.

hope you enjoy it and as soon as i finish with it i will post the pics up.

disclaimer: i am not trying to compete with rhonda here because she is the queen of shaped minis...lol

PUSH THE BUTTONS WITH THE CUTTLEBUG SPOT WEEKLY CHALLENGE

yes, i am super late with my project for TheCuttlebug Spot. so late i told nilda she did not have to add it if she did not want to.
the weekly challenge is to use buttons on your project.
i made a big tag.

Enjoy
5.5" tall
(i need to trim that upper left corner a bit--it is bugging me).
anyway, this tag started being a card, of course, lol. but by the time i finished it did not look like a card but a tag. so, i cut the other half and made it into what i guess it was supposed to be...a tag.
the base is from "just because cards", image#34
using shift and adjusting the width with the gypsy to a 3.25.

i cut that shape three different sizes as you can see to add the layers to the tag.. the embossing was done with a sizzix folder called "snowballs" using my cuttlebug. i also used the "divine swirls" cuttlebug folder for the clouds from "paper dolls for everyday", image#15 using the accesories3 creative feature. the butterfly it is from the same cart-- image#3 using shift and accesories3.

here is the so very cute snail and the HUGE BUTTON from my vintage buttons box. the snail is from "creative a critter", image#44 flipped to the right.
as you can see i finally got me some more hemp. i love using that stuff. now i have to get some ms twine.
i tried using the zip dry glue to adhere the button but it did not work at all so i used my trusty glue gun.

the stamp is from a my pink stampers set called "everyday life" you can see more of the sentiments and of her stamps if you click HERE.

well, i hope you join us at the cuttlebug spot weekly challenge and get those nice buttons out and play along. or just stop to see what my very creative team mates worked their butt-ons up to, hehe.

love you all!

MPS MARCH DESIGN TEAM PROJECT

hello to all and a big welcome to my new followers.
i sincerely appreciate you.
our MPS project for this month is layouts...yeap! you know i am not too experienced with this part of crafting, lol-------- so please, considered yourself warned. (wink-wink)
it took me longer to find a photo i wanted to work with than the layout itself, go figure :)
i will explain the photo at the end of the post.

Boy Oh Boy! we are in TROUBLE
8.5" x 11"
sometimes it is time consuming for me go through all the carts to find a "perfect" image so i work with whatever "catches" my eyes first, unless i have something specific in mind.
in this case i started with accent essentials, which is the first cart showing up in my gypsy, :P
the white scalloped background is image#47, using shift and resized to a "forgotten size"--hehe, but i know it is less than 8.5x11, lol. i did not save the file and now i am in trouble :(
the mats where i adhered the pic, are also from accent essentials, image #48--in three different sizes.

i love how i did the clouds. they are from create a critter, image#11 using shift and creative feature layer 2 and embossed with the tim holtz "cracked" embossing folder. the sentiment on the star is from
MPS clear stamps set called "Boy Crazy".
i love this set because i have a boy and also because we have lots of boys in the family.
ok..the socks are here, rotfl. they were my husband's favorite and he did not want to get rid of them. i took this picture because i said to him that "i will scrap them one day" and here they are, in all their glory, ;p
the socks are long gone now and i am so very happy about it. ;p

the arrow is from accent essentials, the "hearts" and the "trouble" word and the "banner" were cuts i already had that never made it before ;p
i finally found some twine/hemp and added to the banner.

the "we r in" are rub-ons.
and as you see i outlined most of the layout and i even used some stickles.

hope you like it and have mercy with your comments, lol. i do hear a lot about the "rule of three" where you are suppose to "guide the eye" when looking at layouts. i do not know if i succeed, but i did try, hehe.

well, this is all for now.
and no, i still haven't finished the album. boo to me. i will tough.

love you all and if you have time or should i say "make time" to
stop by "my pink stamper site"
to enjoy all the amazing projects my team mates have made just for you. :)

have a great weekend.
i have yard work to do for the love of gardening.

WAY COOL

i made this cute card for a little girl...her name is juliana.

Way Cool
standard A2 size
(4.25x5.5")
the base card is from sentimentals. i did not know this cartridge had a file folder shaped card in it. cool! it is image #49 and all i did was use the hide contour in my gypsy and hid some marks.

i also used paper dolls for everyday for the girl. her hair is image#8 using the "headwear" creative feature. her outfit is image#45 using shift and accesories1. the sandals are image#20.

the chipboard heart is from k&co, nail polish are stickles :P. the face is from peachy keen stamps.

juliana are alpha rub-ons i had in my stash

the sentiment above is from my pink stamper clear stamps, the "spanish sayings" collection.

i have hardly used the paper dolls carts and you can find so many images there it makes you feel you do not need any other cart...hehe!!!! yeah right? we are addicted to them...i know i am. i am in a budget right now and my wish list is getting longer and longer. i will need to make a loan to get caught up, lol.

this is it for now...and please, do not get disappointed in me. the finished album is coming this week. i know you understand but i still feel bad. i haven't forgotten...just want you to know that.

love you all!

oh...we had a great time at mom's b-day party. we really took her by surprise and she got all emotional. she loved my cards...they all did, but hmmm! they are my fans..hehe.

enjoy the weather!

HAVE A HAPPY BIRTHDAY

this th is my mil's b-day. she has 7 kids, my husband being one of them. at the end of november she had a surgery, things got out of whack and she still in rehab. that is where we are meeting th night to celebrate.

i made this card for her.

Have a Happy Birthday
5.5" tall
cindy loo was used for the flower and k&co for the colorful papers.

after i took the pic i added some stickles to some areas.

the sentiment is from my pink stamper clear stamp set called "everyday life". and the faux gems my son absolutely hates, lol. i love them...hehe

after i finished the card i decided to make her a set to have handy.

all the sentiments are from my pink stamper stamps.

----
on another note...i haven't have time to work on the album as of today. hopefully i can finish it this week to post the pics of all the pages.

---
my son wants to say thank you for the love left for him too.
