WILD CARD WITH LISA/HEART

I want to apologize again for being so late with the Wild Card for today. Life gets is the way and you know how it is. All is well on this neck of the woods and I am happy to present you the
Heart Card
This card is # 36 in our series and on page #67 of the handbook.

My Heart Card
4-1/4 x 5- 1/2 inches
Standard A2 size
The only image I used from this card was the ICON cut. I had another thing planned but did not use it, lol.
The card base is really thick and I bought it at a recent craft/stamping show near my town. It is from Marco's Paper, they had a booth over and I got a 300 pack of assorted ones.
The patterned paper is from MME and the other cardstock is from American Crafts. The sentiment was stamped using one of My Pink Stamper clear stamps set called Simply Sweet Occasions and the border is from a Martha Stewart border punch. I used pop-dots to raise three of the hearts and inked most of it.
This is the inside and I repeated the same papers I used for the front.

I still have to make the envelope but this is all I had time to do today.
I hope you like it and Lisa will be posting hers tomorrow.
Like I said: Life does gets in the way sometimes but I know you all understand.

Thanks for stopping by and Thanks for your concerns and patience.

Love you all!!!

WILD CARD WITH LISA/FATHER

It has been raining in this part of the world and even
I tried my best to get good photos they are not the best.

Well, welcome back to another week of Wild Card Cards.

Today we have the Father's Card
#35 in our series and you can find this one on page #66 of the cartridge handbook.
I made this one when I first got the cartridge for my husband on father's day but I wasn't too pleased with it but then I was just a beginner-beginner. I am no pro but I have learned a bit here and there and lots more to experiment, lol.
This one is a new card I just made yesterday.

My Father's Card
4.75 inches
The base of the card is made using Kraft cardstock from Hobby Lobby and the patterned paper is another
oldie from DCWV stack. The stamp is from My Pink Stampers Sweet Occasions Set.
As you can see I used the same patterned paper to cut the cattails and grass from the same Father's car but I also used  a Martha Stewart punch for the green grass.
I also used stickles on the grass and I inked most of the card front.
I popped the fish for more dimension and added the twine glueing it with Scotch's adhesive. It worked well with the twine. I was going to add a real twig to use as a fishing pole but everything was wet and it wasn't gluing down :( ...............I might add it another day tough.
Here is a better close-up. I did not glue the cattails/grass all the way down so I could have the effect of real grass as you can see better on this photo.
This is the inside and I also added stickles to the fish and just to the Father's word.
This the back of the envelope and I used construction paper again.
I took many photos trying to compensate for the lack of good light.

Lisa's Father' Card
We both used the fish as a mere coincidence.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this
Wild Card with Lisa.

BACK TO BASICS GIVEAWAY KIT

I do not know if you are like me but I like to see other peoples work and I really enjoy it. I guess this is why I am a  team fairy for Cute and Some, LOL. If you haven't visit Audrey'sBlog you should know is a must. Audrey has come up with a way of showcase your work and get some recognition for the hard work, get some followers and friends and you will receive an Award for it. Check out Cute and Some to get more info on her project.

Anyhow, as I was saying I really enjoy the blog hopping but I always wonder how the projects really look in real life and when I receive something made by another crafter I am in heaven and  I treasure them forever.

This is why I made two Back to Basics kits to giveaway. If you are like me and you want to be considered for the humble prize, please, just leave a comment and be back next Saturday, May 1st, National Scrapbooking day, around noon to see if you won. Two people will win one kit.

Note: I MADE TWO KITS: ONE KIT FOR EACH WINNER.
(I WILL HAVE TWO WINNERS).
I do not have any sponsors and no big money right now so my giveaways for are my handmade projects.
This is one of the projects I made for My Pink Stamper April Treats designer project.
The papers are very similar and some are the same. I included almost everything but the adhesive, the ink and the My Pink Stamper clear stamp I used and the white Sakura pen I used for the doodling.
I believe  that's it. :)

So again, if you would like to have your own little Back to Basics bag kit, please, leave a comment on this post and a way to contact you if you win.
Here are some pics again for the new followers/visitors that haven't seen it yet.
These pictures are not the best so if you want to click HERE to see what the bag I made really looks like.
(The bag is not included since I am going to give it to one of my neighbors).
If any of you is interested in the Shopping Blue Bag,
I can make a kit too and have another giveaway.

Hugs to All and thanks for stopping by and
I love you all.

It is already Thursday, wow!
This week is just flying by and today we are showcasing the
Bandaid Card,
#34 in our project/series and you can find this sweetie
on page #65 of your cricut cartridge handbook.

My Bandaid Card
5 inches
I used plain brown cardstcock for the base and plain beige cardstock for the center of the bandaid which then I embossed with the cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and inked the whole card. The glitter Rx cardstock is from DCWV and the envelope is plain construction paper with plain red cardstock for the liner.

MY PINK STAMPER PROJECT

and...
This is my contribution for this month of April to the
My Pink Stamper Designers
project
Spring Treats.
My partner Jo has her sweet project up too.
You are going to drool when you see hers, lol.
We are teamed and our week is the
third week of April, May and June.

BACK TO BASICS
(is a small kraft bag you can use for any purpose.
I am using it here to share some of my flower seeds with my neighbor).

Back to Basics
is an One Inch Bag from the TBBM cricut cartridge. You can find this bag on page #128 of the cartridge handbook.

---cut at w11 x h5.75 inches using a Martha Stewart cardstock in kraft color.

---the two shapes (called card 1) are from the sentimental cricut cartridge on page #65.
One is cut at w4.25 x h3.4 and the other one is cut at w4.5 x h3.5 inches. the brown shadow shape cardstock is from DCWV Green stack and the green color shape is from the paper studio/pink armadillo small stack.

---the back to basics phrase is also from the sentimental cricut cartridge on page #40 and cut at w2.5 x h3.5 inches. the shadow cardstock is an MS kraft cs again and the blue patterned paper is from colorbok/friendly forest. i used my white gelly roll pen from sakura to add some dot doodles to the letters.

---the red flower is from the stamping solutions cricut cartridge, #20 on the overlay pad and cut at 1 inch.

---the green gem is from my stash, lol and the red dotted ribbon from american crafts. the whole project was inked and the flower was popped with foam adhesive.

---the small tags are from TBBM cut at 1.75-1.50 inches high and the sentiment and mini flower on them are from my pink stamper clear rubber stamps, simply sweet occasions set.

***my idea on this back to basics bag is to put some packets of my gardening/flower/herbs seeds in it and give it as a Spring Treat Gift. the seed packets shown on the photo are from a template you can find on the web (gardenandcraftsdotcom). You can modif
y this bag and embellish it for any other season/holiday as needed.

 SHOPPING BAG/CHIRP
This other small bag was made with birds in mind.
(I love my wild birds and I feed them all year long).
You can use it for any other purpose too and both can be change to suit your needs.

WILD CARD WITH LISA/CAKE

CONTINUING THE WILD CARD SERIES
Today we have the Cake Card #32 in our project and you can find this one on page #63 of the Wild Card cartridge handbook.
Nice card and easy to make.

My Cake Card
5 inches
The cardstock is American crafts and the rings are from the Sweethearts cartridge cut at 1.50 inches and from a DCWV glitter cardstock.
The chunky glitter is from the hardware store.
I wanted something golden and the glitter I had wasn't doing it for me and
that's is when I went and grabbed this one. We used it for a ceiling in one of our rooms, beautiful stuff. :)
I really-really like the chunkiness or broadness of it for a lack of word here :)

Lisa's Cake Card
 Beautiful card!
you can go to Lisa's blog and see more pics of her card.

Any questions about any of the cards please use the

CRAZY FOR CRAFTING HAS LEFT ME AN AWARD

but you are going to have to go to her blog if you want to read what she has to say about it.

and with no more delays
I present you again an award from

Thanks so much Cindy
from the bottom of my heart too.

PSU THANK YOU CARD PHOTOS AND VIDEO

Note: I am so sorry I can't seem to make the video smaller on You Tube.

HELLO
I made a short video to accompany these photos of a special occasion on the life of my son. He has achieved so much on his 17 years old of age. This seminar/classes of Emerging Leaders was provided by Penn State University to some students from different schools in the vicinity. My son was chosen by his school to attend and participate in this great event and to say Thank You we are sending this beautiful card to them.
The American Crafts white card base was cut at 7x11 inches and scored at 4.25 inches.
The DCWV white core blue embossed cardstock was cut at 4x 4.25 inches and embossed with the Thank You cuttlebug folder and sanded to achieve the distressed technique I wanted.
The white strip was punched with a Fiskars paper punch called Sunburst and the measurements are 4.5x1.5 inches. The next piece of white cardstock where you will write your sentiment was cut at 6x3.5 inches.
The back blue cardstock is 6.5x4.25 inches and the leftover embossed strip 4.25x1 inch.
Any questions? remember to post on the

FAQ HUT SPOT.

 NOW, the video :)
