IT'S A SUNNY DAYS SHAKER CARD!

Welcome to our last Cre8tive Hands Friends post.

Michelle, designer and owner of Cre8tive Hands Friends need to take some time off. She apologizes and her apologies are accepted, of course. Family always comes first and we all know life is life, right?
These are sad news but we have some good news too: Michelle will be offering some of her digi stamps, free of charge for this time being, on her personal blog Cre8tive Hands. Just because she is an amazing individual, kind like no other and has a huge heart.
I wish her the best and I will be counting the days of her comeback.

For today's sad but special announcement I made a super cute shaker card (IMO) with an easel on the back for easy display.
It is from a summer series Michelle had designed.
I have seen some of my teammates work with some different images from the set and they all look awesome.

Anyway, here is my take on the assigned image.

Sunny Days
6 x 4-1/4"
I normally do not make this size of cards but my shaker card needed room to shake those pretty sequins.

Isn't that a pretty font? I used a very thin layer of diamond stickles over the letters.

I used a clear stamp for the sea shells on the bottom left and a couple of paper punched clouds. The acetate used is from an old Recollections pack I have had in my stash for years. (LESSON LEARNED HERE: Never get rid of your old supplies because you never know when they will be needed again, lol).

The image was printed, fuzzy cut and colored with alcohol markers. I wanted the shack to look distressed and fainted from being close to the ocean and I wanted the sun really bright suffering from its own heat. hehe.

I used a Sizzix die for the easel.

Being almost summer I am enjoying the scenery on this card. The whole series is so refreshing making you dream of palm trees on a nice beach.

I wish many "Sunny Days" to darling Michelle.

Sad to say the Michelle's Digi Club and Etsy shop will also be closing its doors until notice.

Now is time for you to check the DT projects out and don't forget to follow Cre8tive Hands to cheer my friend a bit. Plus, you can still get some freebies because of her unmeasured kindness to all.

Have a great day
and
 Thanks for stopping by!

WATERING CAN WITH FLOWERS...A DIGITAL STAMP CHALLENGE

hello all,
As we continue with "Anything Goes Challenge" at the Crea8tive Hands Friends Blog, we also want to thank you all for the awesome participation.
It is great seeing so many entries and learn about some of the techniques used.
Hooray! for you all.

Memorial Day Flowers
Remember, our challenges are every other week.

You do not need any of Michelle's digis to participate but she offers some freebies in case you do want to try them out.

A bit about my card/invite.
After drawing the digi stamp and cut it with my Cricut Explore, I proceeded to color it using some alcohol markers. This time, I tried the Nicole brand from ACM. I do not think they are meant to blend like other alcohol markers but I do like the effect when you do.
I cut two watering cans: one at 2-1/4" tall and one a bit bigger (2-3/4"). I cut off the larger flowers and popped them up using foam tape. The centers were filled with glitter glue.
The table and fern are from a Cricut cartridge called Serenade and more glitter glue was applied to the top. The blue frame is from another cart called Stamping. I also cut two frames and more foam tape again, for more dimension.
The embossed background is a distressed brick pattern from Sizzix. All cardstock used is from Cut Cardstock except for the fern.
And that is about it...:)

Thanks so much for stopping by the hut and if you are interested in a fabulous Digi Stamp Club, Michelle is offering a fabulous one. All details here.

Have a great week and please, feel free to join us anytime.

CHEERS

hello all,
time for another Cre8tive Hands Friends Anything Goes Challenge.

Cheers
Remember, our challenges are every other week and we are keeping our "Anything Goes"  theme for a while longer.

You can always find freebies anywhere, but Michelle offers some freebies as well for you to be able to join us, if you desire.

A bit about my card...
The digi stamp here is the "chick" and it was draw and cut using the Cricut Explore, but you can print them as well and then cut by hand.
The papers used to make my card are from my humongous pile of supplies, lol. The arrows are from a Spellbinder die and the phrase "cheers" is from Paper Smooches, also a die cut. The mini clouds and the border were paper punched. The pink tag is from the Cricut Cartridge Sugar and Spice and I manually paper pierced it and is not evenly pierced but still looks good to me. To finish my card I used a bit of a pretty fuzzy pink twine.

Cre8tive Hands Friends is also offering a monthly Digi Club. You can check the details here.

Thanks so much for stopping by the hut!
I hope you enjoyed my project for today's share.

Welcome to another
Cre8tive Hands Friends Digi Stamp Challenge

I Luv my Teacher
3.5 x 4.5"
This time instead using my Cricut Explore for draw and cut, I printed my boy and then cut by hand.
He is approximately 4" tall.

I used alcohol markers for the coloring, used a G-studio paper punch for the tiny squares and clear stamps for the letters.

Perfect for the end of school year!

Hope you can join us again!
Happy seeing some friends of mine joining us, thanks!

The challenges run for two weeks and the theme still "Anything Goes".
