JUST A NOTE

hello all,
did you have fun last night with our ceo and team?
it was lots of fun trying to keep up. i failed. no way i was keeping up with all of it.

anyway, i am happy for us cricuteers explorer. our future looks so good.
and mr. ashish (cricut ceo) is one of the kind.
i think we all love him. he has been trying so hard to earn our hearts back and they way i see it, he is succeeding.

anyway, with all the snow and pain here and there...the days just fly and i did not have anything done from the bits and pieces cart
 BUT...
i had found this free svg (they have other freebies) at a new site called digiplayground and i  had made this cute little box for valentines.
oh please, DO NOt type
digital playground or it will take you to a porn site...it just happened to me, oh my!
the name is
digiplayground....
(maybe they should think of another name because typing the wrong key can take you on that other site). lol.

.......and here is the candy box i used as a love post notes

FLIP OPEN CANDY BOX
digiplayground free svg
-thank you digiplayground for the freebie-

box: 3" x 8"
(re-sized)
heart (outline) from george and basic shapes (M36415): 1" x 1.25" welded to love post from wild card (M34A03)

arrow from boho graphics (M33222): 2.4" x 1.7"

mini heart on arrow: 1.2" x 1.36"

---

 mini cards: 2.5" x 6"
(scored and folded at 3")

mini cards hearts: 1.5" x 1.75"

just a note from wild card (M307F8): 1" x .9"

envelopes from smiley cards (M418E7): 5.66" x 4.2"

i think it turned out really cute.
i had room for 6 mini cards and their envelopes for the size i chose.

i stamped the wavy postal lines on the envelope using a g-studio clear stamp i had on my stash. the mini heart was punched out.

NOTE: i tried to include all the number id's and where the cuts were from but some i can't remember. that is one thing i want to have on design space: the ability to find/see what cart was used after being added on the virtual mat and then be able to save all that info.
i do not know if they do have that option or not, but i can't find it.

you can make these darling boxes any way you want: any other size, colors, events and use them as desire.

also,
digiplayground is having a dt call.
go and check them out.

have a great week
and again,
thanks for taking a peek.

A MINI BANNER...school days

hello all and welcome to the my blog!

it is my turn to remind you of all the good sales we have at the pumpkin spice shop and

i am sharing with you a mini banner i made using some designer paper by my mind's eye which i made using my cricut expression.

i know school is out but that does not mean teachers stop being teachers and some are taking some of their time off to think of ideas on how to revamp their classrooms and...
this is where my banner will go and hang pretty.

School Days
12 sections banner
you can find all the supplies here or at least something similar.
---the font is from all mixed up and the smiley cards, both are cricut cartridges---

the green is more like a lime green, it looks totally different in these pics :(

i cut each section approx. 4 inches tall and i used the pretty pennant cricut cartridge for the triangles.

i think it turned out so cute.
i made this banner as a token of gratitude for someone i appreciate. i hope she'll like it.
i will also upload it to my etsy shop and if you see it among my listings, you know is a duplicate, not this one...this is a gift.  :P

i am going to make it short for you today since i know you are all enjoying the weather...
i see you next time.

take care and again, thanks for stopping by!

i still on my mission of "clicking and sharing" but i am getting lazier, hehe.

A PUMPKIN SPICE CHALLENGE...using smiley cards digital cricut cart

hello all,
here we are with another fun challenge from the pumpkin spice blog
---TAXES---
and this is what misses denine wrote:
"Today's Challenge: Taxes (money or debt or anything that makes you think of TAXES)ok ok... i know.  Taxes.. really!!?? But it can be anything, red/white/blue, patriotic, tea party... etc.  Have fun with it!  Lets celebrate that after MONDAY another year is behind us... hehehe"

here is my project to link to the pumpkin spice blog

A Money Bag
i thought this will put a smile to some who have to pay back to the government or the ones who will get some green back
5.45 inches tall
hehe
this cutie is from the smiley cards cricut cartridge: image #34 on the overlay

she is such a happy bag!
hehe

note: the shadow feature did not match the die cut..i do not know if all are working like mine. we received this smiley cards digi cart from cricut free of charge. i do not remember when or how.  if  you find out yours do not match either, now you know you are not alone :(

the patterned papers are from my mind's eye: oh la la collection and the glittery one is from dcwv.
i just added a diamond rhinestone and the golden color trim for the bow.

now you see you do not have to make a masterpiece to join in our challenges. a winner is randomly picked and you always have the chance at the end of the month to win some nice prizes.
check it all out

thank you for stopping by
enjoy your sunday!

-------------------
hello to all of you and welcome to my blog

i am agnes and bloggers know me better as flowerdisco
as many of you already know, i am not much of a scrapbooker BUT i love making cards and play with paper and fabrics in my spare time. i also love my cricut and my gypsy and have an obsession with pretty paper.
did you just call me a hoarder? lol....

anyhow...most of you are hopping with us because you love robyn, my pink stamper
i love robyn too and i am so honored to be in her design team with a group of very spectacular crafters whom are my team mates. you make sure to visit all of them and drool over their creations. you might find some candy along the way too. who knows.
our theme for this hop is birthdays and here is my project.

mmmmmm...
I'll diet tomorrow
 5" tall
hehe...this is so true to me
---i'll diet tomorrow---
but i promise you  i am doing my best, lol
i used the spring holiday cards seasonal cartridge, image#49.
the cupcake is from "smiley cards"--gypsy exclusive-- image# 1 cut at 3.75" tall.

the sentiments are from the lovely i am in love with "sweetest cupcakes" from my pink stamper new stamps
set. it has the cutest phrases about cupcakes. love it!
i used three of them:
mmmmmm..., i'll diet tomorrow and happy birthday sweetie!
the tag came from an old piece of chipboard that i covered the papers i was working with and the ribbon is from target dollar bin. what a nice finding that was!

the butterflies are from a paper punch and covered with fine glitter. i also used glossy accents for the dots/sprinkles on the paper.
a better look at the phrases.

and below two pics of the box top. a feature i fell in love with.

lovely box, isn't?

well, i certainly hope you enjoyed my project.
any questions?...just leave them in the comment area or email me at
flowerdiscos scrap hut at g mail dot com.
i will randomly select a comment entry for the candy below

thanks so very much for stopping by.
