MY BLOG CANDY FROM MELANIE/THE CALENDAR GIRLS BLOG

On January 26, 2010 I won a Cricut Cartridge on Melanie's blog.

I won the Sweet Treats one.

I received the package yesterday and Melanie sent me a Thank You card for participating and following her blog. I tell you I was more excited to get one of her cards than getting the cart ;)  

If you haven't stop at their main blog you have to, these ladies at the Cricut Holiday/The Calendar Girls are amazing. They have different projects for every day of the week and they also have amazing giveaways every week. So, I had to share with you the beautiful card Melanie sent me with my blog candy.

I did ask if I could share them with my followers but since these are Regina's files it was a no-no and rules are rules. This is the copy of the reply email I received from Donna:

It's a thick textured cardstock, matte and it reminds me of my white linen textured cardstock from Wausau.

I went to Ross this past Saturday to get somethings for Lulu and I found the Paper Gator for $15

and the Karen Foster kit for $7.

AND...this Monday morning Fed_Ex came in to bring me my two

PAISLEY AND SWEET TREATS

I went to M's last night (Thanksgiving day, they were opened from 5 to 9PM) around 7PM and to my surprise was not many people and they still had the Cricut carts I wanted.

Here is a pic of them, can't wait to try them. The images look very pretty and Sweet Treats has a lot for birthday's including a few different party favor boxes.

G N ME

I have heard of many problems with the Gypsy and for a change I am glad I am  a procrastinator. I am taking things very slow right now.

Today,  I have been watching Gypsy videos and reading Gypsy posts on the Cricut Message Board, learning what I can before I start pulling my hair, lol. Anyways, wish me luck and patience while trying to learn the in's and out's of this new gadget.

GYPSY

WHAT IS THAT GYPSY DOING HERE?

 Me: "I do not know", LOL

Well, I finally caved in and went to the store yesterday and got one.

It will be my birthday present to myself.

I haven't played with it yet but I did the registration and the uploading.I made copies of the rebate for my two free solutions cartridges (part of the special promotion) and uploaded it to my computer.

 Provo Craft already sent my 700 points (again, part of the special promo) and when I get the two Solution Cartridges I will redeemed the last 100 points for a total of 800 points. The cartridges I ordered are the Baseball and Soccer ones. I would have order the Wedding Cart but it was not part of the promotion.

I love the Christmas Solutions Cartridge. I have waited what it seems like forever, lol, and finally, had enough reward points and all I had to pay for was shipping. Now, the Don Juan is not doing much for me so I want to trade it or sell it. Any takers?
