ETA: if you need to laugh, go ahead and do it. i am ok with it. when you do not have the proper supplies, things like this happen. i promised myself i will get better at this. i just need some watercolor paper that will fit through my printer, hehe

now i will proudly introduce you to
miss buggy
square card
4.5"
miss buggy is the digi image i chose for the design team announcement. i wanted to share it. you can find buggy with flower in the freebies section of skdigis

CAFE, LATTE, EXPRESSO, CAPPUCCINO, CHAI...treat containers

cocoa, aulait, breve, cocoa, chocolate is the word for this week's challenge at the
why don't you play with us. we would love to have more participants so we have even more fun. see the challenge rules here and do not be shy, after all, it is a random pick.

i have been dusting off my cricut carts i haven't used yet, lol, and today i am using the sweet tooth boxes project cartridges.

but before i show you my project,  i want to give a huge THANKS to some ladies from the unity stamps blog, who took the time to come to my blog and left me some lovely and well appreciated comments about my
i linked to their site, for first time, on friday night (the 18th). a big thank you goes to all of you for making me feel so welcome.

---now onto my challenge project for the pumpkin spice blog---

Coffee Shop
approx. size 4.75 inches tall
i cut this store/building at 7 inches tall and after you finish with it, turns to be about 4-3/4 inches tall, just that you know, :D--- you will find this image on page #4 and it says the max you can cut Iit at is 10 inches tall which will give you maybe a 7-3/4 inches tall cut. remember, NOT to use real size dial, OR, your layers won't fit.

the denim paper i used is from dcwv and the word stamp is from inkadinkado. the pretty red flowers from a paper punch and the red glitter cardstock from coredinations.

the roof was dry embossed with a cuttlebug folder and the windows covered with vellum paper.

the round window is so pretty. my neighbors have a real one, :D.
i also added vellum to the back of it.

here is the pretty coffee shop in all its glory.
---did you notice this cut looks a lot like a milk container? haha!---

thanks so much for stopping by,
and i hope i have inspired you at least a bit and you decide to join us in this so fun challenge
psss!....i am a coffee lover but my husband is a fan. so yes, we always have coffee in the house.

You Make my Heart Feel Super Happy
a valentine's day candy box

this is the sentiment from the kit....so cute! i love it! and i am in cloud 9, hence the clouds.
this candy box is from the tags, bags, boxes and more 2 (TBBM) cricut cartridge. the speech bubble is from create a critter. the white cardstock is from bazzill. the mini white rose if from tim holtz. the mini hearts are from the same stamp set: with love. i stamped the hearts on the back of the papers and cut. the rest of the supplies are from my stash.

and this is it for today.

ANYTHING GOES CHALLENGE...first challenge

hello fellows,
just to celebrate my first post with a no name challenge, i decided NOT to make a card , hehe but an atc.
i am hoping you like it, i haven't make an atc in years.

Just In
2.5" x 3.5"

how can we get it so wrong with some people sometimes?
sorry, i did not use her clear stamps on the atc, but i did not get them in time. since my mailman died, we do not have a regular mailman and i never get my mail on time.

i will give you info on the challenge first and then i detail the atc a bit.

now, back to my atc.
this is the top part. the background papers are from basic grey: lucille. they are so very pretty and i got them here.
i have a confession to make, what i made for this challenge is not what i had designed. it just came out of the blue and totally changed my plans. hehe.

the JUST IN was done with my cricut store front cartridge, the black outline was done with the cri-kit pens and so the outline of the just in. the words were then cut with my cricut. i cut them very tiny (1/2 and inch) and they came out very nice. TIP:-pressure and blade on 3.
the chipboard butterfly from my k&co forever stash :D.

ok, we move to the bottom half now.
the star border is also from my k&co stash.

remember you can "zoom in" if you click on the pics.

thanks so much for stopping by!

A PUMPKIN SPICE BLOG CHALLENGE...using gypsy wanderings

i wanted to share with you guys my project for this week's challenge at the pumpkin spice blog. this week's challenge is:
"Make something that makes you think of a snowman. Be creative and have FUN!"

and fun i had making my project, :D

Be Mine
4" x 6"
as most of the time i had something else in mind, did end up "not feeling it" and changed my venue to this: a card front. it will be ready for a card, a layout or a mini album when i am ready for it. hehe.

for the snowman i used the gypsy wanderings cricut cartridge, overlay image #45    and cut it at 4.5" tall.
but, before i move onto the entire project i want you to notice my sentiment "Be Mine". i used my whimsical designs clear stamp set called: All Love. i am really in love with the sentiments on these stamps. i added the link within the name so you can see it for yourself.
i also used clear embossing powder on top of a chianti colorbox ink for it. and, don't you love this banner???
it is actually part of another stamp. this time the stamp is from heidi swapp. i think is gorgeous too. i just stamped the banner part i needed and cut it off after the heat embossing. the little drops on it are not a mistake but i did them on purpose, fyi, :D

the red background patterned paper is from carta bella and the glitter red cardstock is from core-dinations. the face i did with a martha stewart alpha stamp. the snowflake on the hat is from an ek paper punch and the edge border from fiskars. i also dry embossed the kraft paper with a cuttlebug embossing folder.

here is another take and you can see the pink fabric flower and the red crystal button. they are both from webster pages.

well, i hope you join in the challenge and have fun with it. i am also glad you stopped by and i thank you for your support.

A PUMPKIN SPICE BLOG PROJECT...a square card

Hello, this is me agnes
aka
i am a new addition to this already awesome design team. today is my first post and i am so happy you came to visit.
i love making cards and love playing with pretty paper and, if you are like me, then you are in the right place. the pumpkin spice store is the place you need to get your "fix", i mean scrap supplies, hehe, you also will find many other addictive goodies. personally, i think denine has the best prices in her shop. if you "gotta see to believe", click here to see for yourself---(wink  wink).

anyway, i got this awesome paper at the shop called beautiful moments, from the new brand carta bella. oh my! you are going to love it. nice thickness and gorgeous patterns and colors, yummy! along with these papers i also got my first unity stamp called jars of love x 3.
these jars are all the rave now and the hearts make them perfect for valentine's day. the hearts come separate from the jars, in the same package. this is great because if you want to use the jars for any other occasion, you can, yay!
well, enough of chat-chat and let me show what i made with my shop pumpkin spice goodies.

Love
4x4 square card
the jars were stamped using a versafine onyx ink (my new favorite). i then stamped the hearts on the jars with versamark, sprinkled them with red brick distressed embossing powder from tim holtz and added this softer than most  jute. the rest came from my forever stash, :D what a cute and easy card if you asked me...shhh! it really took me a while, hehe. i wasn't pleased with the first one i made. wink-wink.
oh, i almost forgot the "so happy" sentiment comes from a my mind's eye clear stamp set i also got from the shop.

a few more pics (for more details, click on the pics)

and...this is it for now.

thank you again for stopping  by to see my first project for this blog.

i hope you liked my project and i invite you to subscribe, bookmark or follow us. this way you won't miss anything that denine has in store for all of us----and, that includes you too.

have a great day!

A PUMPKIN SPICE BLOG CHALLENGE...welcoming 2013

this week's challenge at the pumpkin spice blog is to make something with a new year's theme. it will run from saturday the 5th to friday the 11th.
we invite you to join us!

2013
3D frame
 this is my entry.
the lady is from the cricut cartridge suburbia.
( i have this cartridge since it first came out because i had to have it, lol ).
anyway, i have the suburbia lady welcoming the new year 2013 on her entry doorway. i know you can not see it on the pic but, i used some clear micro beads from martha stewart and i spread them over the door. it does looks awesome in real life.
i also added an easel on the back cut with a tim holtz sizzix die, for display purposes.

don't you love these wood grain papers? they are from mme: miss caroline-dilly dally
the door cut is from "a frightful affair" another cricut cartridge. it is a halloween one but you will be surprise what else you can use it for. the banner is a clear stamp, also from mme: everyday fun embossed with a tim holtz red distressed embossing powder.

do you like that embellishment behind the 2013?
you can find it on the suburbia cart, page 53. it is the base for a retro clock. i love it!
the 2013 cut outs are from a christmas mme paper pad.

i just love how this ensemble turned out. i have it displayed in my living room.

thanks for stopping by!
 i love when you do.

A PUMPKIN SPICE BLOG HOP...a happy birthday card

hello my dear friends,
i am happy to welcome you to our first
 blog hop of 2013.

as you might know i am one of the new ladies in the team and...i am so delighted to be part of this awesome and so very friendly group.
we had to make a project that made us think of the new year. my mother's birthday is on january 1st and that is the very first thing i think of when we are welcoming a new year.
"Happy Birthday mami, happy birthday to you"

and because i looove making cards, this is what i made for today's hop.

Mom's Special Day
Jan. 1st
the beautiful paper i used is from a basic gray 6x6 pad called Lucille.
i got it at the "shop pumpkin spice".
i hand cut the flowers from another paper in the same collection. i then dusted them with some diamond dust (i am getting better at it). don't they look pretty?

the sentiment and the card base were cut using my electronic die cutting machine: the cricut expression and i used the lyrical letters cart for the font. the brown insert strip is where i put the gift card.

and an entire view of the card here.
(remember you can click on the pics for zooming)

Now, the pumpkin spice blog will start weekly challenges this year and they will be every saturday. our hops will be the first saturday of the month. this week's challenge coincides with the theme we have going on about the new year.
click here to go to the pumpkin spice blog for more information about how to enter, requirements and prizes of our weekly fun adventure.

have lots of fun and if you want to sign for the post feed or google reader, do so . you won't regret it and you won't miss a thing. :D

thanks so much for stopping by!
