a friend of my son's birthday is coming soon and i made this card for her. she was "daisy mae" on the musical "lil' abner" where my son was lil' abner.

i used the cricut cartridge sweet treats and this cake is image #17 on the overlay.
it was cut at 2.75 inch.
the background was stamped and then stickles (glitter glue) were added on the dots.
the tiny butterflies are from a paper punch i own. i love that little butterfly--- :-)
the sentiment is from my pink stamper from the fabulous phrases stamp set.
this stamp set has fourteen (14) sentences. all for different occasions.
as you can see i also added stickles to the "blue icing" and to the butterflies.
the bottom orange strip was paper punched for a beautiful border.
this is the inside and this inside sentiment is NOT from my pink stamper and i really can't remember what is the brand and i am too lazy right now to get up and look, lol.
this is the completed card.
(i ended up rounding the corners).

I thought of you and your son...we took in a cat and her kittens a few months ago and named her Sadie because she chases our other male cats, like "Sadie Hawkins Day"...lol. I told my dh about your son's play and he thought the name was perfect.
