A PUMPKIN SPICE HOP...using spellbinders

this is flowerdisco from flowerdisco's scrap hut welcoming you to the
pumpkin spice "blog hop", a "challenge" and a celebration of
"National Scrapbooking Day".

we have a slightly different way for today's hop just to spice up a bit our routine. each one of us has made a project with a different theme in mind. each challenge post will have a 10% discount code (scroll down to find your code) to use at the pumpkin spice store and each designer will pick their own challenge winner for a $20 gift certificate also for the pumpkin spice store.
we think this change of venue for today will be fun, you do not want to miss it.

and this is denine's personal blog where you can find more info

my challenge for you is to make a project with a mother's theme...easy peasy.
it can be any occasion project not just for mother's day but it has to be for a mother.
and it needs to be a new project for this challenge

my card for today goes to all of you with love.

Dearest Mommy
3.5"inches wide by 5 inches tall
for my card base i use the cricut cartridge Just Because Cards. i also used the cuttlebug for my dry embossing.
the beautiful patterned papers are from my mind's eye, the  six by six  paper pad called
a mother's love and another favorite of mine the lost and found two collection called sunshine.

the elements for my card were die cut using a spellbinder die. i am pretty impressed by how nice these dies cut too. i do not own many and i think this is the first time i used one. this specific one is by donna salazar.

the sentiment was a circle from the a mother's love pad that i adjusted a bit and the sewing was done with my sewing machine. i am always amaze how a little sewing adds so much to a project. the pink enamel dots on some of the scallops are also from my mind's eye the sweetest thing collection. i am in love with them.

this is your coupon code to use at the
pumpkin spice
for 10% off your purchase
please, do remember to come back with the link to your project...add it to the my comments area on this post.

we thank you so much for your support and for joining us in this journey.
last, a reminder of our invitation to participate in our challenges, you are going to be real happy if you win.
