BELIEVE is a card i made using my july card kit

  welcome to flowerdiscos' scrap hut

today i wanted to show off some of the pretty papers that come in this artful delight card kit and i "believe" some how i accomplished my mission. therefor the title of today's post and project.

Believe
3.75" x 5.5"
i have seen this technique around and is nothing new but i think it was the perfect way to show the papers to you. the strips of paper were cut at 1/2 an inch, individually inked. i  adhered them one by one on a piece of white cardstock and trimmed the ends off. i then added that piece to the front of my card.
(note that these are not all the papers in the kit but a few)

i also added the doilies (bo bunny), the butterfly stamp and sentiment (lawn fawn), and the enamel dots (my mind's eye). actually, all you see here is from the kit. all except the gold glitter i used for the butterflies body and the brown ink i used for the stamping.
(the lawn fawn sentiment reads "believe in your dreams" but i just used the one word)

i even added some mini photo corners.
if you watched this video you know i mentioned the glitter in this teresa collins dotted paper transfers. to remedy this i sprayed the paper with hair spray and problem solved: no more loose glitter.

and for your delight and mine :P
i loove how it turned out.
