GERANIUMS PLANTER

-hello all-
welcome to my first post for the
digi playground creative team
i am so happy to be able to digi play for miss samantha walker using her and her designer artists vector files (svg's).

first of all i want to add that this digi file i used is called the
and it was designed by miss Jamie Cripps, our social media director and creative team leader.

is about
2-1/2" x 5-3/4" x 2-1/2"
(approximate size but re-sizeable)
i used my cricut design space software and cricut explore to manipulate and cut the images but...
this file is compatible with the
silhouette, make the cut, cricut ds, sure cuts a lot and the eclipse.

so pretty, huh?

and a bit of how i made my project:

broke cardstock fibers with a big ball stylus, inked all edges with brown ink, added a bit of white chalk ink to the center of the petals, veined them and bend the tips.
added some dew drops with a glossy transparent medium and,

i really-really hope you like it because each one of those petals and leaves went through a lot. lol.

i was more gentle for the planter: i used a faux stitch border punch on the brown strips and added a kraft tag stamped with a "he is risen" clear stamp sentiment and a small rustic jute bow, plus the inking of the edges.
also cut some strips of the same brown cardstock as a filler for my planter
(hard to see. i know. i am sorry).

-the thin brown strip at the bottom of the planter is not included in the file but a mere  scrap from the top strip that i decided to save from the scrap pile just because, :)

(did i happen to tell you i really love geraniums and have them around my house all year around?)

and this is it for today my fellow crafters,
"sweet and short".

hope you enjoyed jamie's planter box.
it was a pleasure to make.
-super easy to make with excellent results-
have a great day!
