YOU'VE GOT MAD SKILLS

HELLO FRIENDS,
it will be before we all realize it my son will be gone to start a new chapter in his life and,
i think the "empty nest" syndrome is attacking me already. i feel so anxious these days.
BUT...
this card that i will give him after his lead in the musical "Lil Abner" made me happy. i needed to craft to take my mind off things :P

You've got mad skills
4.25" by 5.5"
using the "nifty fifty" cartridge and image#44 with all its layers.
all images were cut at 3.50". the shoes are so darn cute, aren't they?
the sentiment "you've got mad skills" is from my pink stamper clear set called
"sport-tastic".
i stamped it on a scrap of cardstock and mounted it on a ticket shape.

i also used a handy action wobble for the dancing shoes.

it was really easy and fun to make this card.
hope you like it.

note: i purchased the new everyday pop-up cards cart but it is not so easy and i  lost my patience the other day with the first image which is the eiffel tower, lol. i need more practice, hehe. any tips are welcome! :)

on another note: here is a photo of the local newspaper where you will find my son and some cast members. they will be performing this weekend.

he had to get a funny haircut for the part
the top is really long and the sides are really short. hehe
anyway...sunday he will be going for another haircut, lol-- to get his style back.

and i am so very sorry i haven't been around your blogs and i really really feel bad but i believe things will be like this maybe until after the graduation party. maybe not as bad as lately but some things are going to required extra time and this poor body can do so much a day. after so many hours i am good for nothing. :P

see you on friday tough for my pink stamper blog hop...a small candy might be chanced...lol

 love you all!

  1. Very cute card, love the colors and of course the shoes!! I'm an empty nester of two...my boys are moved out and my daughter is hardly ever home. I did get to take over the boy's room though for my crafting...yeah! I love all of your ideas, they are great!

  9. Agnes, this card is fabulous and those shoes are pretty darn cute!! I love the way the patterns work with each other and what a great stamp to use on it! Good Luck to your son and the rest of the cast this weekend! I am sad to hear of your soon to be empty nest. My oldest is starting kindergarten this fall and I am at the brink of having a panic attack over that! I can't even imagine them graduating and leaving me (sad face)! We'll be here for you!
