A DREAM TAG...using sequins

this is the last post using the artful july card kit.

 ---(i can't wait to see what goodies will be in the august kit)---

it was so much fun playing with all the goodies that came in and i wanted to use those sequins sooo bad...

Dreams Tag

i used water colors markers to color in the flower and leaves (the flowers and leaves and sentiment are from the lawn fawn stamp set that came in with the kit) and stamped the sentiment on a piece of scrap from one of the patterned papers.

i used liquid glue to attach the sequins one by one while lulu was scratching my leg to take her to the bathroom...boy, she had to wait a bit longer than usual. hehe.

you know?, when i first started gluing the sequins on the white cardstock i had no idea where it will take me. it then started taking the tag shape in my mind and that is why i chose to leave it in a rectangular shape and just made a hole on top for the twine.

it is even prettier in real life and i know i will be using it on a gift real soon. i am also thinking it can be used as a bookmark by the recipient.
