A LITTLE NOTE WITH POP TONES

Hi all, Agnes' here sharing my first project for this month using happy colors from the Pop- Tones cardstock sample pack.

I was taking a trip on Pinterest, dreaming about every project I will never make, lol, when I saw a darling card using a thin die I have in my stash and, like many of my pinned projects, I had never used yet. Can you relate?
Anyway, that is where I found my inspiration for today's cards: Pinterest.

I found my die (dies) buried among other untouched ones and started
cutting the mini envelopes, then the tags, then the flowers and greenery. I also cut
I cut 9 white tags using the Classic Crest Recycle cardstock and the Cuttlebug (manual die cutter). I stacked them in a group of three's, glue them atop of each other and used them to pop-up the pretty and colorful tags. I have to mention I also used the same cardstock for the cards base.

On pic #2 you see the tag die, secured with a piece of washi tape, covered half way with a Cuttlebug plate. This is how I cut just half of a die onto cardstock, I have to remind myself to make sure the side I want to cut is the one under the plate.
Pic #3, shows how I will be adhering my tags onto that shape and Pic #4 shows the embossing and a better view of the half cut tag.
All layers were adhered using the Tombow liquid glue.

The name of these colors remind me of frozen pops: the yellow is called Lemon Drop, the orange one is Orange Fizz and the hot pink is called Razzleberry. The flowers and greenery  were also made with the same Pop-Tones 65# cardstock. Oh, the green cardstock is called Gumdrop, yummy.
I love bright colors but in this sample pack, you will also find some neutral pastel colors too.

For the sentiment "a little note", I used a clear stamp.
A thin twine wrapped around three times on each embossed layer finishes the simple touches on these so very pretty cards.

Here is a different view with the left one showing them standing up.

Remember I mentioned the die is a mini envelope? Well, let me show it to you.
This is how it looks if used as originally intended. Super cute!
The name of this pretty color? Blue Raspberry.

Hope you enjoy today's post.
