CHRISTMAS WISHES...wishing you lots of love

welcome to the scrap hut!

today i am sharing a square card where i stamped on burlap and used the
matching digital die for the christmas trees because....
has now matching digital dies for all of their stamp sets and i think is a fabulous idea!!!
you must have an electronic/digital die cutting machine to be able to use them. they are compatible with many die cutters: cricut explore, silhouette,  sizzix eclipse and many others. i have linked the blog post where you can read more about it.

imagine no more fussy cutting.
these digital dies help you to be headache and hand pain free, lol.
and, they will save you some green plastic too.
i won't tell you how much they $$$$$ cost because i want you to be surprised.
wohoo!

anyway, in this
"wishing you lots of love"
card, you can see how nice they cut. nice border around.
even the sentiments have digi dies, yay!

well, back to my card....it measures approx. 3-3/4".
the burlap is from a dcwv small stack i have in my stash.
the border is from a fiskars punch and the trees are from the
"Christmas Wishes" clear stamp set. i used dye inks for all the stamping.
i like the nice fade background the stamping made on the burlap.
a nice detail and it adds a bit of color to the mute colors i used.
the trees were covered with a nice glitter shine effect on them. hard to see, i know. sorry about that.

i chose to stamp the sentiment right on the card this time just to show you do not need to use the digi dies if you don't want too.

the sentiment and cute little curls are from the same set and it reads:
"wishing you lots
of love, joy & happiness
this christmas".

(love those curls, so cute)

aren't you excited about these digital files?
i know i am very happy with them.

i wish you have a great day!

A SET OF NOTE CARDS IN BOX

just for fun and because it was my turn to post at

i hope you like my card set and box and give you some ideas.

i am using FINLEY from Glitz.
it is a beautiful collection and i love the bright colors of it all.

NOTES
-pic heavy-
using my cricut expression i made cut the box. it is from tags, bags, boxes and more.
it measures 3" wide and 3-7/8" tall. take note the size i used in my cricut was 5.50".

here you can see it when closed.
i used a few supplies from stash but the papers and alpha stickers are from FINLEY
the burlap is from dcwv and cuts fine using my cuttlebug.

i made three note cards that go inside and i embellished them but left some space for a handwritten note or small photo. in addition the back has been covered with the same paper,  if needed, for more pics or message.

i used different patterned papers from FINLEY.
i distressed the edges and inked them with brown ink. i added some stickers also from FINLEY: arrow and date.

the lucky to know you was hand stamped using a red rubber stamp from unity.

a side view from the box.

and here is the complete set.

always happy you stopped by and i hope you all had a great holiday.

just a reminder, if interested:
we are offering FREE SHIPPING with any order of $50 and up.

have a great week!

ENDLESS GRATITUDE...a tag for a friend

hello fellow bloggers,

this tag is for a friend, it will be on top of a small present so maybe we can call it a gift wrap topper instead a tag. we make these pretty projects, we give them names and titles. we label them but the truth is, most of them can be used in any way we want to use them, am i right or what? lol.
sooo, if it inspires you today,  make it and use it as it fits your needs. :D

Endless Gratitude
2.75" x 4.75"
cute, isn't it? not my everyday colors but they still a pretty color combo.

if you receive the artful delight kit you already know most of my supplies for the tag are from this september kit.
the base patterned paper is from the authentique "strong collection".

i die cut the doily with a quickcutz (antique doily) die i purchased at j's and cut it in half. the paper i used for the doily is from the same authentique collection "strong".
the pretty and unique sentiment is from paper smooches "many thanks" stamp set. the flower is from prima and i distressed it a bit with brown dye ink.

i embossed the white cardstock from bazzill (this one came in with another kit) using a cuttlebug embossing folder.

the burlap is the remnant of the mini pocket from maya road i used in this card. the jute is also from maya road.
i used the glue gun to attach the burlap and the flower and the mini bows (just for the fun of it), hehe.

and another "this is it" for today.
i hope you like it too, i know my friend will. she always makes me feel so good and now is  my turn to make her feel good too.

thanks for stopping by flowerdisco and know that i still value you so very much.

have a great week!

TODAY, TOMORROW AND SOMEDAY...my garden will grow

what a title for my post today, right? hehe
but we have been working so hard this summer for my little dream garden, all i wish is "today, tomorrow or someday" it will grow into a beautiful one <3.

anyway, this month's artful delight card kit is as fantastic as all the previous ones. it is so great to have a bit of everything all in one yummylicious monthly package. i can't hardly wait for the next one.
(i made another short video, to share the contents of it all. you can see close and personal what is in it. i know artful delight has a photo and description but i like to show it to you this way. i do not know if you care or not but it will be at the bottom of this post).

Today, Tomorrow & Someday
3.75" x 5"
the sentiment is from pink paislee's "portfolio" collection. it could not have been more fitting.
love, love, love the yellow chipboard flowers from my mind's eye charm/carefree collection. i am totally in love with them. and you will love that mini burlap pocket...awesome!

i needed to show off that baby too and i decided to mount it on some foam tape.. :)

the chipboard hearts are from the same carefree collection and they represent my love for gardening and nature.

a bit of distressing because well, it is not easy work,...ask my hubby (hehe)

a bit of jute wraps it all together and there you have it: a flower garden in a pocketful of love..oh my...i am super silly today. lol.
you know it is almost fall, son is back in college, house feels empty and i have to make the best of it all. so excuse my silliness. :D
a very meaningful and whimsical card, in my opinion.
(hope you like it)

almost forgot to add that the dark yellow base of the card is a bazzill cardstock and the patterned paper is authentique's (strong collection). (senior moment there, hehe)

remember artful delight's monthly challenge for a chance to win one of the kits. they always are so much fun.

psss!!!!       here is the mini video showing the contents of the card kit.

thanks so much for stopping by
and,
-have a great week-
