KISS ME...a mini file folder card

hello all,
i think is time for me to get out of hibernation despite we still have so much ice and snow and  in the ground and expecting more. we have been hammered: storm after storm.
i will try my best to have more projects for inspiration.
if you like my style, please subscribe so you do not miss a post.

today i will be using some products from the 'love you more' collection from elle's studio that i received in an order from nani ke ola scrapbooking supplies. all the little pieces and labels and journaling tags are adorable and so much fun to play with. i also ordered some 12x12 patterned papers from the same collection so i have a few projects in mind to share in the next few days.

Kiss Me
3.5" x 4.75"
mini file folder
i used a cricut cartridge for the file folder cut.  i popped with foam adhesive the 'kiss me' round tag and i also added some glossy accent to the mini heart.
i attached the hearts patterned paper with some straight stitch using my sewing machine and went over it a few times to make it stand out. you already know how much i am enjoying this sewing on my projects lately. hehe.

more sewing here attaching these two tags together that also came in the 'bits and pieces' pack.

i love how all the tags with their phrases make it so easy to work to layered together.
(the background white patterned paper is from american crafts).

hope you like my mini file folder card. you can add a love note of your own and afterwards use in any scrapbooking page as an embellishment or journaling tag.

all the supplies have been linked to nani ke ola for your convenience, if interested. the store is running a special right now of a 20% off on this collection right now and they are going fast. i am happy i had pre-ordered mine.

thank you for stopping by and if you have time you can also check our blog. my team mates are into mixed media and they show lots of beautiful techniques that you can use as an inspiration for any of your paper crafting projects.

Have a great day!

FILE FOLDER using graphically speaking

for a challenge at
The Scrapbooking Queen
---Wobble Wednesday's---
 using an action wobble

Off the Record
11.30" by 9.5"
file folder
the hand image you will find it on page 65 of the handbook; image #38 using the icon feature of the overlay or when using the gypsy. we are talking about graphically speaking- a cricut cartridge.

the "off the record" you will find on page 59 of the handbook; image #32 on the overlay using the phrase feature.

the file folder is also from page 59, and image #32 using the icon feature this time.
---i used american crafts as the base for my folder. k&co and me and my big ideas for the patterned papers.---

the tickets are from my mind's eyes "savy never enough" collection.

the ephemera embellishments are also from k&co
and the mini paper clips, from tim holtz.
if you can see the border made of stamps and envelopes: also from k&co.
the stamped phrase "dreamer" below the  "the" is from a g-studio clear stamp.

below you will see the action wobble that was required for this challenge

i distressed everything with a one blade razor, pretty cool tip from me...hehe....i could not find my timmy's distresser, lol. so i improvised. loved how it worked too. wink!!!
and again, this is my finished project: front and back and,
a few more embellishments are explained as well.
the twine was distressed with inks, the tab is from graceful sisters, and i believe is from mme too. it was stamped with some 7 gypsies stamps and that epoxy stop sign is as old as i can remember: maybe from a dollar/clearance spot at a craft store....see why you should never get rid of you toys, lol.
i hid the twine on the back for now, but i might show it after all.
 i haven't decided yet.

thanks for stopping by
and remember,
this project is for a challenge at
The Scrapbooking Queen--- "Wobble Wednesday's".
you can join in too.

DETAILS....

hello sweet friends. hope each one of you is doing FABULOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

graduation party is getting closer and so are preparations. my husband will be cooking and i will be his assistant along with some other helpers. hehe...that will be some FUN! for a change ;p

anyhow, for de-stressing and taking my mind off things i worked on this card on and off like for two days, lol

Details
4.25 x 5.5"
i used a few cartridges and welded a few images using my gypsy.

the card base is from "just because cards" page #63 image #40. the banner is from "christmas" image #29 and the mat for the sentiment is from is from "cindy loo" and is image #10 manipulated for my purposes--hehe. the font for the word "details" is from "graphically speaking" image #25 using the type feature and welding the letters.
i had to cut things a few times and tweak them here and there but i am happy with the results.
the butterfly is a chipboard accent from k&co.
those little epoxy flowers i believe they are from some dollar bin or maybe from sticko brand, they are really cute.  -----------TIP: when i use cheap products i do not rely on their adhesive so i always use my adhesives and in this case i used "zip dry".

the patterned paper is from dcwv: the cafe mediterranean matstack.
absolutely stunning colors.

a bit of messing up trying to add the small pieces to the negative of the word--  :(

i was very pleased to find the butterfly. the colors matched so very nice!
i love when you find a perfect match in different brands.

a side view.

and the inside sentiment compliments the one on the front very well
"DETAILS"
LIFE IS TOO SHORT...LAUGH WHEN YOU CAN!
also................. it is my best piece of advice to you.
the sentiment is from one of "my pink stamper" clear stamps set called:
"everyday sentiments".

i sure hope you enjoy it and it serves as some kind of inspiration.

love you all!
