HANDMADE---super easy to make pet collar/necklace

every month a make for miss lulu an accent pet collar, beaded necklace or a flower.

all i used here was a piece of ribbon-----measure your pet's neck and add a few more inches for the knot and because you do not want to strangle your pet, lol, but you do not want it too loose it can get stuck on things----

disclaimer: use your common sense and of course i am not responsible for any damage to your ribbons, flowers and/or pet-:-)

i have these prima old flowers i normally use on her necklaces and i attach them with a craft glue dot. on this case i even added a brad after cutting the prongs, i do not want miss lulu to get a sore if the brad rubs against her skin--;p and voila! you have make a trendy collar/necklace for your pet.

miss lulu loves them, she loves to be stylish--hehe

MY MEMORIES....playing with digital

some of you might have noticed my side bar with an ad for a digital software program.

i was contacted and asked to try the program (this was last year and now is when i have time ---shame on me)--- they even provided me with an extra software to give away. AND, you can have your own blinkie too and offer.

this company is called 

"My Memories"

and i have been playing with it for a couple of days.

i am very impressed with the "easiness" of this program. i was a bit apprehensive at first since i do not do digital and i am not computer savvy and my son is away...hehe... he was the one who helped me with these issues. :b

if you go to their website they even have a "free trial" where you can see if is something you would like to acquire and then, you can even get a discount when you click on their blinkie on my side bar.

 I recommended this software for all of us who save our photos for "another day", waiting for that "perfect time" to paper scrapbook, lol.

This is going to help me/us tremendously in that problematic area where people like me/us are known for, hehe.

"PROCRASTINATION"

and, -----while waiting for that perfect day, we can share and store our photos, looking mighty good in a digital album. we can even get ideas for when we do have the time for paper. wink! and that is not all,  you also can make cards and much more.

----i do have to tell you my laptop is very sick with a HUGE black and blue on the hard drive since i dropped an iris case heavy with scrap papers on top of it. i had all my photos there and until my son gets home on march, i have not many photos of us to share. i did take one of miss lulu to practice with---.

this is an already made template and everything was just too easy to do.

all i did was changed the text orientation, add miss lulu's photo and add the frame.

i wanted to start showing you something easy...for your benefit and mine, lol.

Disclaimer: 

this is the first digital software i play with so i am not familiar with any other but this and is suiting my needs so well.

I do want to give you a tip: when you are adding elements to a page or card, keep in mind that whatever you add first will show first and the second/third/fourth, will go in that order---on top of the previous element. if you need to make changes to any of it, you will have it you to delete and add again. i know it does not sound very clear at this time but when you get there, you will understand.  i am not a good teacher as you might know and i am thinking i might even make some videos for you to see----that is if time/life--- permits and when it does allows it...lol.

LULU GOT A NEW OUTFIT

My dear husband who never surprises me with anything came home last night with 

an outfit for our spoiled brat pug Lulu :) 

Imagine that, Lulu gets everything and I have to beg for a cart :(

Here is the beautiful outfit and notice the brand and the pink heart on the right.

He said he couldn't resist.

 

Is it a coincidence or does Lulu owns a successful business and we did not know?

LULU - STAR OF THE SHOW LAYOUT

I have been thinking that Lulu has been with us since around my birthday last November

and I never got around on making a page for her.

Lulu is the funniest pug, she follows me everywhere and

she steals the show everytime.

Now,

It is my pleasure to present:

As you can see I got to use my MS Crown paper punch ( the go around the page one)

why not crown Lulu at the same time.

After all,  

Lulu is my Little Princess.

The stickles used for the name is the Fruit Punch one.

I chose it because it is pink but it came out a golden color :(

LULU'S NEW OUTFIT

I took Lulu today to the Vet to have her stitches removed. I asked the staff to put her on the scale and she gained three pounds already. No more pounds for her :) Now, I will feed her 1/2 cup twice a day.

Lulu loves to eat.

Anyhow, to celebrate the day I went to Ross and I found this gorgeous outfit.

LULU IS HOME

I will take pics this week but for now I just wanted to say Lulu is finally home. A bit scared but very loving. She already marked some of the territory (grrr), hasn't eaten nothing  but a dental bone I gave her this afternoon. We are a bit sad because they informed us today she has the beginning of lyme disease. The vet believes with the proper medication for a bit she will be fine. Let's see!

This is all for now since I am exhausted from Lulu's big day.

LULU IS COMING GOME

We went to see Lulu today (I have been to see her every other day) and we could not find her so... we asked and she was on another area. She is going to have her surgery tomorrow and we can go and pick her up on Monday. Guess what is on the calendar???

My birthday!

LULU'S UPDATE

CONGRATULATIONS TO US

We are now the proud owners of Lulu.

Lulu has to go on a list to be spayed and they will call us when that happens.

Now, we just have to wait, hopefully it happens before my birthday next week.

What a precious gift!

INTRODUCING LULU

 LULU

We wanted to rescue a dog and have been looking for a while. Yesterday we apply for Lulu, she is a pug (maybe mix?). The rescue organization where she is at do not know much about her.  Monday, we will  find out if our application was accepted.

Lulu had a bad case of fleas and she shows signs of it. They think she is approximately one to three years old and Lulu seems to be a very loving girl. Lulu needs to be neutered ( the rescue organization will do that) and when we take her to the Vet she will need to be updated on her vaccinations.
