Dear Santa...

hello all,
i still not ready to comeback but it was my turn at nani ke ola and i really wanted to share this lovely collection with you here at my blog. it is a very simple card because i want you to focus on how pretty the papers and die cuts are.

Dear Santa...
her name is clarice and she is the most lovely reindeer of them all. but little pretty studio  is going to make it hard for you to choose because all these die cuts are fabulous. i am not exaggerating. trust me :)

they have such a subtle shine to it and some of it looks like it has a digital texture added to it and the colors are the colors i love. all bright and happy colors that can be used not just for the holidays.

see why i had to share this with you all and get out of my hibernation for a bit? :)

you must see more of it. you have to see it for yourself.
to see more of this awesome collection please click here for nani ke ola's shop and or here for the little pretty studio blog.

and thank you for stopping by.

---hoping you are enjoying this time of the year---

ENJOY THE LITTLE THINGS...while they last

in my case not everything is happy all the time and i know that is the case of most of us :D

a family member has been battling with a bit of sadness these days and this card if for that person. a reminder of better days (past, present and future).

Enjoy the Little Things
4" x 6"
i am using finley from glitz designs again..actually the whole card is done with three finley elements: the base for the card and the main element (deer) are from the "what nots" and the sentiment is a sticker from the "titles and accents" 12 x 12 stickers sheet.

i love how the mini hearts are cut out in the stickers, i think is a nice touch.

anyway, this is one of the simplest cards i have ever made. finley makes it so easy. all the color i need is there, the die cuts are super cute.
this deer i used is almost as big as the card, as you can see.
ready to be the star of the show.

the little brown dots on the bottom of the card remind me of the spots on the baby deers.

you can find this finley collection at nani ke ola scrapbooking. i am so happy to be able to help them spread the word. they are a new online scrapbooking store...just a baby yet....but with lots of potential. the girls are into mixed media and they are making gorgeous layouts, canvas and all kind of pretty projects. stop by and let us know what you think.

i hope you enjoy your visit.

and thank you for stopping by.

A HOLIDAY CARD

  WOOHOOOOOOOOO!

Nilda from The Cuttlebug Spot asked us to stay 3 more months designing for her blog. We all said yes, of course! It has been so much fun working with this design team. All are so friendly and loving.

This time we were asked to make a:
Christmas card using your favorite embossing technique such as sanding, inking, etc.
Just right down my alley, hohoho

A Holiday Card
4 by 5.5"
(remember to click on the image for a bigger view)
The base of the card is American Crafts textured cardstock: distressed and inked.

The green cardstock is from Core-dinations and it has been embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder, distressed and also inked to the max, hohoho! ;)
The reindeer is a chipboard accent from K&CO.

The lace ribbon it is a remnant of what I used last year to make this Holiday Wreath.

A view from the side.

and this is the inside....a bit distressed.

Don't forget to stop at THE CUTTLEBUG SPOT and enter you project for a chance
to win
CANDY-CANDY-CANDY.
Custom Crops are sponsoring the challenge.

Thanks for stopping by and for the love left for me
Ho-Ho-Ho
