A WATERCOLOR PRIMA CARD

Hello all,
A very short post today to share this card I made using the Prima watercolor pad called 'Salvage' and the famous among crafters Kuretake Gansai watercolors.
I have these items for a while now but didn't have time to try until now.
Shame on me.
I have linked them, if interested.

Thanks Watercolor Card
These watercolors are awesome, they are very pigmented and creamy and the colors are gorgeous and, you just need a very small amount so they will last you for a very long time. Nice!
I used the 'wet on wet method' letting the pigments blend themselves on the paper.
I did not mind the colors running off the squares since I was playing using the wet on wet and 'enjoying' the process. Did you get that? Enjoying the process. :)

Thanks for stopping by!

RAISE YOUR GLASS...and a few fun techniques

hello all,
this project is the forgotten one, lol. i had drafted it and forgot about it but...the good thing is it could be used for new year's day inspiration. so here we go...

this is a cool card using stamps from joy clair, watercolors, microbeads and liquid embossing.
wow, what a mouth full of supplies, lol
-warning: big pics today :D-

SALUT
3-1/2" x 5-1/2"
i started with the background. after playing with it for a bit i finally got the look i was looking for: like shooting stars in a galaxy.

i used the martini glass without the olives, yeah i know. i do not drink so i don't know better, lol.  i covered it with clear liquid embossing (you can use glossy accents too) and sprinkled some clear microbeads i had in stash from ms and let it dry overnight.

next morning i distressed all the papers and stamped the sentiment with black ink.

and, i used a thin die for the piercing.

i did not have any sequins on hand but i had this chunky multi color glitter and i think it did the job. i love how it looks. i also added the silver string.

i certainly think it came out beautiful.
it screams new year celebrations to me!

below is the stamp set used and its matching digital dies.

i will also receive a FREE stamp cleaner with my order.
this is an awesome sale I really do not want to miss---
i deserve the treat, i deserve the treat, lol.

sale ends monday, nov 30th at midnight est.

now, i will entertain with the cutest penguins of them all.

Christmas Penguins
the penguins are the latest release and are included in the black friday sale, of course.

i used a stamp from another set (the snowflakes set) to get the illusion of snowflakes for the background. i inked them with water (hehe) and stamped them on top of the blue background distressed ink.
the pretty tree is from a cricut cart, the stitch border from a thin die and i used alcohol markers for the coloring.

the christmas gifts are from the "cozy snowman set". they were too cute to leave them behind.

i think is a pretty handwriting style font. it is from the joyful wishes set.

this is the penguins stamp set and its matching digi die.
