PARIS WALL ART

isn't this little hanging so very pretty?

I had made something else with it for another challenge but never it went up so, I took it apart and made a hanging out of it and now is a very pretty
Paris Wall Art
and I entered it in a Fantabulous Cricut Monday Challenge.

I used the
FRENCH MANOR
Cricut Circle "Exclusive" cartridge...(wink-wink)
just that is not exclusive any longer since it has been on Ebay many times already.
LOL.

Go ahead and check FC and play along and have fun.

I also wanted to mention that I will be participating on Abby's and Gaby's "Dia de los Muertos"
Blog Hop.

This is the definition on Wikipedia:

""Day of the Dead (Spanish: Día de los Muertos) is a holiday celebrated in Mexico and other countries. The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. The celebration occurs on November 2. Traditions connected with the holiday include building private altars honoring the deceased using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed and visiting graves with these as gifts. The Day of the Dead is a time of celebration"". (www.wikipedia.org)
I have the Blog Hop Logo on my side bar already and can't wait for it. We do not celebrate it as Mexico does but we do go to the cemeteries and clean the tombs, paint them, bring fresh flowers and lots of prayers. That is the way I remember it while growing up. I do not know if the tradition continues.

Remember stop over tomorrow Wednesday for  "Playing with Serenade by flowerdisco & friends" and enjoy what my friends and I had made for your inspiration.

Love you All!

CRICUT CIRCLE BLOG WEEKLY CHALLENGE

I thought to share with you guys the new Cricut Circle Blog, please click HERE to take a look and hopefully you can see it for a while at least . I think they will close it for visitors and then it will be just for the Circle members only.
I have to be sincere about this blog and I have to say I really like it so far. I like it better than the message board. They will have weekly and monthly challenges and they have a team of very talented designers. The projects so far have been fabulous and the giveaways awesome.
On October 2nd they celebrated the launch of the blog with prizes every hour: from Imagines machines, Gypsy's expressions, Cake machines and more. I did not win a single thing but it was fun for a while until I had to go for a marching band competition that day.
Anyhow, I am entering the weekly challenge. It won't be judged but they will randomly select a winner for a $25 certificate for cricut.com purchases. Hey, something is something even that cricut.com prices are a bit elevated comparing the competitors sites and stores, lol.
For the challenge we were to use the French Manor cartridge, which is the first cartridge we got when we signed up for the circle, and at least 2 cuts from it and some bling.
I made a trifold folder where to put pictures and or journaling with a travel theme and I called it Ciao for one of the cuts I used from French Manor. The other cut is the circle.
Let me introduce you
Ciao
(picture heavy since I am putting it up for sale on Etsy)
Hope you like it and give you some inspiration.
It is a 12 x4 piece of chipboard covered with patterned papers.
Score at 4" and 8" and embellish as desired.
