THE LIME LIGHT JANUARY PROJECT

hello my friends

as you know i have been sick with "whatever" and i feel better on that "whatever" but not 100% better yet :(.
now i have terrible lower back pain that shoots down to both legs and i think i am getting my son's cold too. i can't win but, whatever right? put my big girl "smile" on and move forward, lol.
this tuesday i am going to see a rheumatologist for my chronic pain and see if she can help me a bit with some new medicines. i will keep you updated. i have bee suffering with this for over 15 years and i tell you it is not getting any better :( every day seems to get worse.

anyhow, since i belong to that awesome charity blog "The Lime Light", where we make crafts to help fund others with their needs, i want to show you what i have been working on.
some of these cards are non-cricut but we have to think "out of the cricut box" sometimes, right?;p  and since i have all these store bought embellishments that i am in love with, -big grin here-- and can't just leave them on their store shelves...i decided to use some of them for a good purpose and make some cards.
i made 12 cards for january and i will be making 12 bookmarks for february. i might make something else but i can commit for too many right now because i need to get "my situation" under control here.

here are my cards

you might recognize some of the cards background ;p
they are from a store bought set too. i do not know if the photos give them justice but i know they are really pretty in real life. all i did was add some touches with glitter, white gel pen, stamps from MPS, punches, and the mixed die cuts...see how pretty?

i am also taking this post to mention "i am so honored" gisella from http://crossmyheartpapercrafts.blogspot.com/

 blog anniversary.

ALL OF YOU
Welcome to my hut, and please feel free to browse it.
My name is Agnes for those of you who are new visiting and I love to making cards and home decor projects. I do to scrapbook but not as much as I make cards. I am married and we have a --soon to be-- 18 years old young man, who we are very proud of. We also have Lulu, our pug fur baby girl.
I am so very delighted to be here and be able to use a hobby to help others in whatever I can.

This Cricut cartridge is my donation for the hop.

----------

This is the card I  made for tonight's hop. I want to say Thank You to all of you who come and support me and to the new bloggers/crafters who will be stopping by tonight.

Thank You card
 4 x 7 inch
The base was made with Birthday Bash and adjusted on the Gypsy to make it a 4 x 7".

The top heart was popped up. The mini dots are done with fabric paint.

The Thank You sentiment is from My Pink Stamper clear stamps sets.

I think the sentiment font matches my card beautifully.

 The cardstock is from DCWV.

Hope you see what you like and maybe decide to become a follower.

OK...now, back to the hop

THE LIME LIGHT BLOG HOP

JUST BECAUSE I DON'T WANT YOU TO FORGET
_*

BLOG HOP
DEC 17
8PM CST

As you can see by the title, the Lime Light Charitable Design Team, of which I am a DT member is having a blog hop this Friday at 8PM.  We want you to get to know us and what we do as a team, so we are having a blog hop so that you can visit the various team members' sites.  We also have a couple of the top Cricut bloggers on the net -- Everyday Cricut and Pink Cricut, that will be stops along the way.

The team came together a few years ago because of our love of Cricut, and we wanted to give you a couple of bonus's as these sites are top notch when it comes to Cricut creative inspiration.

At 8 PM CST on Friday, we'll  be posting the instructions on how you get from blog to blog and what you need to do when you get to each blog (COME TO THE LIME LIGHT BLOG FIRST FOR INSTRUCTIONS).  All simple stuff.
Now, here's the fun part. We'll be giving away some very nifty prizes, including a grand prize stash worth over $150. And because I can't wait, I'm giving you a peek at the prizes. So sit down, take a look at the goodies, and then join us Friday at 8 CST for a fun time!

NO EXCUSES ALLOWED!
wink-wink

Love you All!

THE LIME LIGHT

Let me explain you;

THE LIME LIGHT
We are a design team with a unique purpose. We use our crafting skills to help and bring light to others. We invite you to visit the site often to find out whom we are crafting for and what we are planning in the months to come. We have exciting plans that include making cards and bookmarks for our men and women in uniform, making journals for families whose children are in the hospital, making cards for baskets that help raise money for playground equipment....and that's just the beginning. Come back soon for pictures and blog entries giving you even deeper insight in to how the team is bringing light to those in need.

These are the news I had in installment for you.

Your flowerdisco from flowerdiscosscraphut is now a Design Team Member for this
charitable blog. I am so honored and ready to help others with my humble projects and hopefully they will be worthy enough for whatever cause they are used for.

Please, Please......visit this blog at
and see what this group of amazing people has done and still doing with this blog of theirs.
Like I said, I am so excited about this.
It makes my crafting time even more precious if I can help somebody with it.
We will be having a Blog Hop on December 17....mark your calendars and they will be many, many opportunities for you to win some fabulous prizes on each stop (I believe). We need all the exposure we can so if you are so kind to post on your blogs about this Blog Hop I am positive the blog team will appreciate it.

Grab this button if you will and display it proudly on your blog and let others know what you are all about.

and Thank You
for stopping by to read about my super great news.

Hugs to all!
