TOY SOLDIER FOR THE HOLIDAYS!!

Hello you!!!

These Toy Soldiers I made with a Tim Holtz Sizzix die.
So cute!

The pictures show the first out of 12 soldiers but couldn't resist to share them in case you want to make your own.

Toy Soldiers
-Set of 12-
The glittered cardstock is from Core-dinations and the boots are made of these glossy black cardstock I had for a while. I am sorry I can't remember who is the manufacturer.

This die does not come with the yellow dot for the hat but I thought it looks better if I added it, so I punched some with a paper punch and that is what I got. :)

I know you can't see it but I covered the plume and gloves with some shimmer. I used a shimmer pen, similar to the Wink of Stella, from the brand Art. They also have different colors but I bought the clear one to compare. I have to say I think I like it a bit more than the Wink of Stella. In case you want to try them, I purchased mine at ACM and of course, I used a coupon.

Hope you like the soldiers!!

Have a great day!

SCHOOL DAYS MINI ALBUM

hello all,

i have to say i always liked this type of mini. i like the different sizes and the sneak peek of the pages. very easy to make as we all know and you can embellish it any way you want for whatever occasion you need.
just add some pretty pattern paper, die cuts, stickers, pics and you are ready to show it off.

i made it for a nephew who just started kindergarten. my niece can add some pics and notes about that special day. if she needs more pages (sure she will), she will let me know (she will) :D
i just wanted to share it with you all in my today's

the size is approx: 9" long x 2-3/4' tall not counting the inserts.

-the pretty school theme paper is from we are memory keepers-

-a few more pics-
-some of the embellishments are stickers and others die cuts i made-
the mini pockets and inserts come with the svg file as you saw on the screenshot.

no need to say my niece and nephew loved it and i loved making it for them.

it turned out simply adorable!

this is the original file
designed by carina gardner

-and, below is a screenshot of how it looks on my virtual mat is prior to cut-
(as you might know i use the cricut explore and cricut design space for my die cutting including all my digi playground svg's.)
Note: when in design space, do not forget to attach the score lines to the images, in this case the mini album base.

hope you enjoyed it and if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask them.

 once again,
thanks for taking the time to stop by.

CRAYOLA WATERCOLOR HALLOWEEN BACKGROUND

hi all,

not saying much today but letting you see what i did with some crayola watercolors, some strathmore watercolor paper, some paper smooches stitch dies and a spellbinder cat die.

A Halloween Wall Art
4 x 6
how do you like the cats furs?
super cool, huh?

-you saw them here first-
hehe
(have to mention it because some have been even stealing my flowerdisco name.
can you believe the nerves of some???
grrr!)

the orange on the right is supposed to be a water-colored halloween moon.
the bats were stamped from a g-studio clear stamp.

the fright night is from a fiskars clear stamp set.

here you can see different options i had in mind for my cats.

-these are the supplies used-

for your enjoyment and inspiration only.

BITS AND PIECES DIE CUTS

hello bloggers, family and friends!

i am delighted with all the new cricut carts coming out lately. what a bundle of joy.

bits and pieces is a must have.

i am starting a series on this cart and this is just a sneak peek using one of the images.
(i am planning to blog bits and pieces on wednesdays).

Hexagons

how cute are they, huh?

i cut them at 2 inches, they are adorable.
---other sizes and colors available---

i used american crafts textured cardstock on these darlings.

they will be on my etsy store plus i will also be adding them to the custom items tab.
(still have to figure out the charities and paypal donation button).
if anyone knows how to and would help me out, i would certainly appreciate it.
