SWEET THOUGHTS OF YOU

i am not feeling well. i haven't been feeling good since last thursday. i have a bad case of gerd and indigestion and bloating, and every time i eat it i feel nauseated. if i do not feel good by monday i think i will be calling my doctor.

last night started snowing and snowed all night. i love looking outside at night time when snows. it looks like the sky illuminated itself with a yellow warming and peaceful glow. here are some pictures from today. i wish i could have captured the glow from last night.

love how it looks after a good snow--it is like winter wonderland until the plow truck comes by, lol.
did you notice the stunning sky...awww!!!

i worked on this card today,

--Sweet Thoughts of You--
4.25 x 4
pretty, uh?
the sentiment is from one of the first mps clear stamp sets called
"simply sweet occasions".
it seems i keep going back to that one--so versatile :)

this is the package and if you click on the pic it will take you to the mps site so you can see the variety of stamps she has out and more coming out soon too, yay!!!

these are old papers i have in my stash from autumn leaves, the tag i made myself with the cricut and so is the clock too and of course...robyn's "sweet occasion stamp set" hmmm---i think i mentioned the stamps before--hehe.

a bit of distressing and some more stamping--oh, and i sew on it too, hehe.
so very cool--!!
the ribbon was given to me by kristen --one of the designers at the cricut circle.  she makes them herself too.

here you can see how i used two ink colors to create a shadow on the sentiment. i first used brown ink and then stamped it again--a tiny bit off--with black ink, and this is the result.

hope you like it--!!

we will be having our first mps blog hop this friday at 8PM central time 9PM eastern time. it is going to be lots of fun and i know you would like to participate. mark your calendars for this friday, january 14--.

see you later,
love u all.

--this post was supposed to go up last night and it failed again---another boo for google--grr!--

CRICUT CIRCLE BLOG WEEKLY CHALLENGE

Hello my friends!

Thanks for your kind thoughts and for keeping me in your prayers.
I sincerely appreciate it. I will see my neuro-surgeon this Friday for the results. I will let you know.

***

I made today this card for the weekly challenge at the Cricut Circle Blog. These were the requirements:
"Weekly Challenge #6: Feathered Friends Challenge...
The birds are flying south for the winter and we’re heading inside to “feather” our own nests in preparation for the cooler months ahead. This challenge is in honor of the birds! Create a project of your choice using a minimum of 2 different Cricut Cuts. Your project must also include a bird of some kind and stitching (machine stitching, hand stitching, or both)."
This is my card
The pine tree is from Camp Out cut at 4.5 inches tall.

The birds are from A Child's Year. The star from a mini punch I have in my supplies.

The tags/mats are also from A Child's Year and the sentiment from the Christmas Solutions cartridge.

I used my black ink cri-kits to write the sentiment. I then filled the inside with my silver glitter pen. The stitching was done with a paper piercer first and then faux stitched with a red pen.

This is the inside.

The designer patterned papers are from My Mind's Eye, the blue from one of the tags is from Martha Stewart and the red one from American Crafts.

It was very easy to make, perfect for an assembly line and to get your Christmas cards in a blink ;)
(wink-wink)

I have a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT to make about the Action Wobbles we were working with. Yes, the same ones some of you guys will receive samples of :)......... but we can't tell much yet. Stay TUNED! because we are going to have lots of fun.

Love you All!

WILD CARD WITH LISA/HOUSE

Well, I finally got here.
I started this card this morning, then I had to go to the gym, came back 1-1/2 hour later. My flowers were really thirsty and had to attend to them. Then it was Lulu and blah-blah-blah and I finally got it done.
Hold your horses now and enjoy my

House Card
7.75 inches
(I think this is the max size on a 12 by 12 mat)
 Where do I start?

The card base is a kraft cardstock, a bit thick for stability. You will find embossing with the cuttlebug, inking because I love inking, stickers, the Sweet Treats banner is from
Christmas Cheer and the font is from Blackletter.
-----
The candies and pink ribbon and the swirly mint are stickers from the $ store.
-----
The banner was cut at .86 inches and the font is .42 inches.
For the font I used my Cri-Kits pens.
-----
The balloon and the cupcakes are also stickers and the small leaves are from a punch and I treated them like they are making them now: misted, crunched and inked, lol.
-----
You can see the leaves better here.
-----
A Big Sundae is waiting for me when I get skinny again, lol
It will be my reward :P
-----
The inside and the envelope. I got some ink on it but that is ok.
The top flap of the envelope was punched with a Fiskars punch.

This was a lot of work but I really enjoy this type of work when I do not have pain, lol.

Enjoy and if you have any questions, please use the
Frequently Asked Questions
since it is just there laughing at me and waiting to see who will use it first, :P

Love You All!
